Lyric and Gray make a beautiful pairing in health, temperament, and conformation. You can see the health testing results for both Lyric and Gray by clicking on their links. Along with health and structure, it is vitally important that our Leos possess solid, stable temperaments. This is why we are thrilled with this pairing. Both Lyric and Gray are excellent examples of Leos being easy, fun family companions.

As of March 29th, 2024, we are waiting for Lyric to come into heat (any time now!) so that we can move forward with this lovely breeding.

More about Gray

Though Gray does not live with us, we have seen him at shows and visiting our home. He’s passed his ATT (temperament test), and is a dog who regularly navigates between city life in downtown Chicago and rural life at a family farm. He has also shown a willingness to work with his owner, Kyle, on rally obedience and tricks. Gray also lives with another dog, Tux. You can check out his Insta page here.  

More about Lyric

Lyric has passed her ATT as well, and is a registered therapy and crisis response dog, which required her to pass all three of the AKC’s community dog tests (CGC, CGCA, and CGCU.) She also competes in performance events, such as FastCAT, and is a very active Leonberger who loves to play chase and be chased. She lives with a Labrador and assists in weekly puppy classes because her sweet nature makes her a natural with young pups.

They are both excellent representations of their breed and we cannot wait to welcome their puppies. Check out all the pictures below of the potential mom and dad.
